Midterm Project

For a midterm project, construct a small light / rhythm piece which makes use of the various techniques covered so far in the course.  This means ABSOLUTELY  limiting yourself to using either regular or RGB LEDS, in combination with switches/knobs/ photoresistors/bend sensors  (or no sensors at all) to construct a simple piece that makes use of patterns of light and sound.  You may use as many LEDS/speakers as you need (within the context of a single arduino board).

Experiment with ways of using LEDs within the context of other objects, optical devices, etc.

Experiment with algorithmic approaches to generating pattern and/or interaction.

Pay special attention to the idea of “mediating time” within the piece.
